These boots seem to be very well made but I have weak ankles so I can’t wear them daily, they are very cute and very comfortable except the need to loosen the laces around the top, just me though. I purchased my normal size and they fit perfectly. Can even wear thicker socks if I want. I wanted a pair in navy that didn’t have a white sole that looked more for winter than spring and these are perfect! I wish sketchers would make a d lites that have a darker sole instead of white.

I need waterproof shoes for regular long walks with my dog over fields and pavement. I haven’t been able to find comfortable hiking shoes until these. I wore them inside for shorter periods, walking around the house. They mold to your foot. By the third day I could do a happy hour+ outside with my dog. Now they’re good to go.

The shoes were great but unfortunately I had to return them as they were too small for my ever expanding feet!
I ordered some different ones in “wide” though! Awaiting their arrival! I love Skechers, they are the most comfortable shoes ever!
I must have owned at least 30 pairs as I am a letter carrier and comfort is a must!

I needed a boot to wear in the cold that was comfortable while standing for periods of time and good for walking. This boot fits the bill – it is fantastic! They were very comfortable, warm, good looking and they are water proof! Was in low 30’s with the wind blowing-feet stayed warm. I also got them wet with a hose and the water just rolled right off the shoes – feet were dry. I recommend these boots to anyone needing a comfortable, waterproof boot.

The sizes were very limited and I don’t like waiting. I wanted a 9 wide but I settled for a 9.5 regular. They are way too big but the width works. Also the shoe laces were way too short. I had to buy laces. Otherwise the boot is beautiful.

I absolutely love these ankle hikers. They are extremely comfortable, except I wish Skechers would improve the memory foam that is in them. Once you have a toe depression, the foam does not bounce back and you have a shoe with an uncomfortable depression wear. I had to insert a stiff soul liner to prevent this.

Great fit & look!!

For the price this item looked and felt of a much poorer quality than the image depicted and what i expected from this brand. This pair of shoes was of a poorer quality construction/materials than I expect from the Skechers’ styles I have been wearing for over 15 years….and have depended upon for the best arch support and wear.

I have a narrow foot & hiking shoes are not made in narrows apparently. I tried a Merrell boot and the arch was way to high & very uncomfortable. At least with Skechers I have memory foam lower arch and are comfortable with a heavy sock

I was in the market for a new pair of hiking boots which would work well with many of the bright colors I like to wear. Something neutral or black was really what I could see working well and when I found these I was interested. I read many reviews and opted to make my purchase in a half size up (I normally half size up when buying hiking boots to accommodate my thicker hiking socks). When they arrived they were comfortable and did not really need to be broken in as they were sturdy but not stiff. The interior of the shoe uses memory foam so it easily made it one of the more comfortable boots I have tried and I immediately took the boots out to the trail to challenge them. The trail I selected was filled with stairs and uneven surfaces, many slippery areas with small loose gravel and a final crag at the end which poses a challenge. I did not have any problems with any of the surfaces and had perfect marriage of grip and flexibility with the boots. I also noticed, despite the darker color, the shoes did not become hot or uncomfortable even on the hot 100+ degree day.

I got these just in time for an episode of snow here in the Pacific Northwest. I was able to navigate much better with these shoes. I’m older and have to consider my balance – these really gave me good footing. I’m looking forward to wearing these hiking in spring.
Sue –
I have problems with my feet, as in must have room on top and sizing must be right. These fit right, out of the box. They look good and are comfortable. Great shoes for the cooler months.

I am very happy with my new ankle high hiking boots. I have been looking for over a year and have returned 3 other brands due to discomfort. I have a high instep and Achilles tendinitis which make finding a comfortable boot difficult – these are perfect. I did order a half size larger than my shoe size, but I always do that with boots so I can wear thick warm socks. These boots fit great. I walk the beach almost every day and in the winter these are great because they really are waterproof and they are not too heavy. I could not be happier.

Using them as snow boots. They feel really comfortable. I like that there relaxed fit. It’s enough to wear a little thicker socks, but not enough to affect the comfort if you don’t. I have a job were I’m on my feet all day and I’ve worn these all day at work. There not heavy an there comfortable like a regular shoe.

I was looking for a hiking shoe – something Colombia or Merrill and came across these! They were on sale and had tons (tons!) of good reviews. At first, I was skeptical, but decided to go for it. I was skeptical because this brand isn’t at the top of the list when I think about hiking. Well, needless to say, the shoes arrived, I put the right one on and I instantly knew that these shoes were not gonna cut it. These are designed for walking your dog around the block when it’s cold. What follows is everything I realized within a minute of trying these on (hey when you know, you know lol)
First, they are true to size. I wear and 8.5 and the fit was perfect. My foot felt secure in the bottom of the shoe. There was enough room for bulky socks, but still seemed to fit well w/regular socks. The shoes seemed well manufactured and like they would hold up well over time. I purchased the black. They looked just like the description. The fabric was soft and seemed well sealed. I didn’t notice any obvious defects in the manufacturing. Second, the footbed was hard as a rock. Like cement floor hard – no joke – no amount of break in time can fix poorly designed footbed cushioning. Third, there is a lot of padding in the tongue, but it’s impossible to get the laces tight due to all the padding and the way the shoe is designed. Fourth, the top of the shoe hits right at the mid point of the ankle bones – ouch- it doesn’t matter how much padding there is, this is not a place you want a hiking shoe to hit, it needs to be above or below this point. Otherwise, you’re just setting yourself up for failure on a hike and, not to mention, pain. Also, due to the fact that it’s impossible to get the laces tight, the shoe is going to move and rub at the ankle bones. Overall, the shoes gets points for style, and I love the fact that it’s marketed as waterproof, but these got returned. For all the reasons listed above, this shoe isn’t designed for a hiker in the great outdoors. This would probably be ok in an urban landscape – maybe a walk in the park or around the block or to/from work, but if you’re looking for a serious hiker, this isn’t it.

I wear 5.5 dress shoes, but my podiatrist advised me to go up a half size for athletic shoes and hiking boots. These boots (in Size 6) are a perfect fit even with my thick hiking sox. When I tried them on, I found them so comfortable I wore them around the house the rest of the day. Because I’m pretty small, I need a lightweight boot and these are just right for me.
Doris –
Love these ankle booties! So warm and comfortable. My go to winter shoe. They’re high enough to keep out the ick, like slush; low enough to be comfortable for driving and walking. They stay DRY inside too, my absolute must for any foul weather shoe.
Donsneezer T –
Haven’t worn these hiking yet but they are very comfortable and look like they will do the job that I want them too. They also look great.
Jeanette –
Was really excited when I got them, very cute and they were really waterproof…but after only wearing them 4 times in the snow and slush the suede started piling and a hole in the seam split. Had them 4 months, pretty sad. This is the 2nd time a Sketchers shoe has fallen apart this fast. I’m done with them! But not Zappos.. they’re great I got a refund

Fits great, took them on hiking trails already and was comfortable and grippy

I have hated to wear shoes all my life. I am 69 and still go barefoot at any chance to do so. I can actually deal with wearing these shoes all day. On my feet all day, too.
Liabout –
I use these for outdoor activities and to keep my feet warm at work. Taking the test this weekend up at our property – hiking, explore hiking and more hiking planned

Love the subtle hint of pink in the shoe. These are very supportive and comfortable. I would recommend ordering a half size up, or going with the size that you normally are in sneakers.

Although I am not a hiker, I purchased these boots for wearing with hiking socks in the cooler weather. They are comfortable and waterproof, and they look nice. Would purchase again!
