I found these shoes and really liked the looks of them. When I got ready to order them, I realized they were MEN’S shoes. I was so disappointed because I’m a woman. I looked online and found that women can wear men’s shoes – just order up a size and a half (Men’s size 7 = Women’s size 8.5). So I gave it a try. I put these shoes on when they arrived and they fit my somewhat narrow feet very well. They are very comfortable and I did not have to break them in. Glad I found them, because they have a heavier non-fabric edging which holds up better than just the fabric. Wish they made women’s shoes to be more durable like that, but at least I know now that I can order 1-1/2 sizes larger if I find a unisex-looking shoe that I like! Skechers are great shoes and a great company to deal with.

The fit, look and comfort of the shoe is good. it is listed as a “walking” shoe, I could see it as a casual walking shoe but after about 12 to 15 miles on them over the first weekend, the wear on the sole is much further than other walking shoes with a harder sole. I would list these as more of a casual strole walk than an agressive I need to break a sweat and get my heart rate up walking shoe. I posted a question about durability as I was buying the shoes and go the response that they would be a good shoe for my intent. I’m not entirely certain how long they will last for that purpose but maybe they will surprise me over time. Regardless I like the shoe and plan on keeping it.

I bought the grey, and they are impossible to clean. I have tried five times now. No matter what I do, it seems the mesh holds onto particulate matter that migrates as the shoes dry, ending up in zones where the last remnants of moisture evaporate. (Obviously I’m a science major.) See my pictures.
Honestly, you would not believe how hard I have tried to clean these things. Note that they are not stained or anything. In fact, they looked far better before I attempted to clean them. It was just the usual dust and light, evenly-toned discoloration you get from normal wear. It ends up looking like nasty stains once the shoes dry. The dark areas migrate to a new position each time I wash the shoes, depending on how the shoes are resting while they are air drying.
The shoes look terrible. Very disappointed.

They are awesome! Like I’m floating on air. I got a half size larger than normal and they fit perfect. I also swapped out for some bright blue shoelaces and love them even more. I could walk for miles in these.

I hesitated to submit a comment early, but after nearly a month of wearing these I can honestly say this was an excellent choice. I wear a size 13, 4E. The shoes feel like house slippers. The out-sole has excellent grip performance. Styling is nice and sleek, meaning not a lot of design features. Just what I was looking for. The TOE BOX is the #1 best part of these shoes. I ordered new sneakers from another brand and had to return the 2nd pair to ZAPPOS because the toe box was way too tight. The 1st pair were equally bad but was unable to return since I mistakenly worn them despite the extreme discomfort. I can’t even wear them outdoors, so I chose to wear them while on my spin bike. But only without socks. The SKECHERS toe box is perfect. I can move my toes with ease. My recommendation is if you’re a person with wide feet, buy The Performance Go Walk Max! In fact, I plan to buy a second pair. SKECHERS is now my #1 goto sneakers.

These may be the most comfortable shoes I have ever owned. I have very wide feet (4e at least) and these fit well. They are so light and it feels like you are walking on clouds. I love these shoes!
