I order this shoe for my husband for Father’s Day and he loves them he drives a delivery truck and he is on his feet all day we both work together. I ordered me a pair of women work shoes because my feet hurt so bad at the end of the day. I wanted a minimalist zero drop or almost zero drop, light, flexible shoe that met the safety standards of my job. After extensive research and review reading I settled on testing these shoes. I can happily say that they are excellent.
Size
I am a size 10 and these fit my feet perfectly. There is ample toe room and I don’t experience the compression or rubbing on my big toe that I have in other steel toe shoes. The shoes are made of flexible material so they quickly shape to the width of your feet.
Comfort
The shoes are some of the most comfortable shoes I have ever worn, and nothing I have worn at work even comes close. There is no arch support – a big win for those seeking minimalist footwear for work. I don’t think the soles are zero drop, but they feel very close. There is almost no spring to the foam insole so stepping feels true to the surface you’re walking on. After a twelve hour shift on hard concrete floors, I came home with almost no foot pain for the first time since starting my new job (almost 8 months). This experience has continued since. The shoes are also airy – my feet don’t sweat in them. The shoes don’t dig into my ankles either – the rim is soft and flexes as I bend.
Flexibility
The shoes are very flexible. I can step, climb, run, squat, and even do stretches and calisthenics without hindrance. The toe guard doesn’t cut into my foot at all and is wide enough to allow my toes to spread. I was surprised by how flexible and soft the material is.
Misc
The shoes don’t slip or slide. They’re easy to clean. The laces tie tightly. They seem well made and I’ve no concern that they’ll fall apart.

I literally “swear” by Skechers Steel toe, and composite. One instance when I was working on a caster deck loading a truck,my foot got caught in a scissor lift and the person pressing the up lift button did not know that my foot was in between the scissor lift and the raising platform.I yelled for them to stop. Because of Skechers my foot is still here and it didn’t even hurt.
Another instance when I was pulling and a large metal can from an aircraft with a partner using a hydra roll system that the large can rolls off of the plane onto a Top side loader.
While my partner and I rolled the can off it rolled right onto my foot! I was wearing the Skechers composite boots and it saved my foot from being broken by a 5,000 lb can filled with freight. I wear Skechers for leisure as well.
The memory foam is such a great amenity. I do love Skechers for myself, my family. They’re prices are so reasonable and they give back to their customers. I appreciate their customer care. They have so many great products with the customer experience as a priority.

Bought these for work and received 30% off. Great price for a great shoe. They are comfortable, roomy, and light with thin, but very good, cushioning. I can’t comment on durability, as I’ve only had them a short time, but these are made using a high quality construction design. If these were offered in different colors, I would probably buy another pair or two right now.

These are like walking on air! I just started at Amazon and am putting in about 12 miles a day of walking. My feet were killing me! I could sit down and they hurt so bad when I would get back up. The second day the tongue on the left shoe bruised the front of my ankle but after an adjustment, it’s all good. Today is my third day wearing them and I love em.

Comfortable, affordable, minimalist work shoes with safety toe! Checks all the boxes! I was looking for a zero drop, minimalist shoe with a nice wide toe box and safety toe for work. This shoe is the only one I could find after weeks of searching that met the criteria (not zero drop, but very close). When they arrived, I swapped out the insoles for a pair of Northsole inserts I had already purchased, and I also fitted some elastic shoelaces because I’m lazy and don’t want to tie/untie my shoes if I don’t absolutely have to. I work in a machine shop and wore the shoes right out of the box all day with absolute pleasure and no foot fatigue. The shoes are understated, reminiscent of a skate shoe, and are surprisingly light feeling on the feet given the steel toe on them. My favorite thing about them is the nice W-I-D-E toe box, which has been painfully difficult to find in the safety toe category of work shoes/boots. For maybe the first time ever, the outer edge of my foot isn’t spilling over the edge of the sole and my feet don’t end up with any sharp or nagging pains on the edge or heel of my foot as they often have with other work shoes/boots.
For my needs, I might have finally found the Holy Grail, but there are a few things to consider that might be detractors for others:
1. The outsole is rather soft and I imagine would not fare well on grate platforms, sharp debris, or slick/oily surfaces.
2. The shoes are not waterproof, and while they can be coated with your preferred water repellent, the tongue isn’t gusseted so rain, snow, or other water will likely get into the shoe.
3. If the work you do has you dragging the your toe on the ground (like a kneeling position), these may not be a great pick as the moc toe will likely start coming apart, and there isn’t anything that would stop you from wearing through to the steel toe after a while.
For the money, I’m satisfied and will be looking to buy these again in six months (that’s about how long I think they will last, but we’ll see).

Awesome shoes lightweight feel and look lke regular sneakers. I had to prove they were work shoes to every manager and boss eveyday for a week they are amazingly comfortable . They so set off metal detectors of course but you would never know it’s the show doing it. I changed the laces added red laces wore them for 4 months 40 hours hard labor a week and my feet were not sore . The first week takes while to break shoes in. Def recommend to anyone who likes the style shoe. You cannot tell they’re work shoes at all I still wear them just running to the store and stuff.
